Davenport clients and their guests joined Jennifer Herring, President of the Norwalk Maritime Aquarium aboard the Cayah Michele to cruise Long Island Sound and experience first hand the restoration of this natural resource. Clients enjoyed meeting with one another over dinner and drinks, and chatting with John F. Davenport and Anne Bensel. Despite rain and threatening thunderstorms, guests were able to view the Sound from the decks of the cruise ship and guess the ship’s position, announced later by the captain. Davenport & Associates made a contribution to the Norwalk Maritime Aquarium as part of the evening’s celebrations.

John F. Davenport and Anne Bensel hosted dinners at the Ritz Carlton in Naples and Sarasota for their Florida clients.

Davenport & Associates has been awarded the prestigious 2006 Forbes® Enterprise Award in recognition of “professional efforts and accomplishments in the field of financial services.” The award is sponsored by Forbes Magazine. The awards ceremony was held at Lincoln Center in New York City, and the handsome trophy is now on display in the reception area of the White Plains office.

Davenport & Associates was founded in 1997 in White Plains, NY. The firm opened a second office in Norwalk, CT in 2006.
